anyone else affected????

i work at a red lobster and recently have been informed that we will be now enforced with the tip share program...which instead of tipping out the bartender the .5% of bar sales we will be tipping out 1.75% of total sales going to the busser and bartender....this said because the corporation does not want to pay the wages of the bartender and/or busser to save millions of dollars for the company the lowly server will compensate them for their loss in wage.....this change affects us in losing hundreds of dollars a month in our tips that we make ourselves....but why would the billion dollar company care about the bottom of the food chain that gets paid 2.83 an hour??? do corporations not understand the way a domino effect works? we the bottom of the food chain are what makes their money and in return we are the ones who get the raw end of the deal.....just looking to see if anyone else out there has been hit as hard as our restaurant in this......
